We have been dreaming about offering a full service farm stand for our local community ever since we moved to our farm in Knox 2012. Slowly but surely the pieces have been coming together. In 2023, we did the earthwork and put in a gravel pad. Ken has been harvesting wood with our horses and milling lumber for sheathing for the past two winters. We’ve got an awesome building plan. To turn this into reality, we’re taking on a loan. We’ll need your support, too: Please consider purchasing a Market Share CSA - you’ll be able to spend it at the farmers’ market or at the new farm stand. Your investment now helps fund part of the remaining construction and infrastructure costs.
Once open, we’ll be able to expand our commitment to fair food access by accepting SNAP/EBT and WIC, offer a one-stop shop for organic produce and cut flowers as well as local meat, dairy, and pantry staples from nearby farms. We’re excited to have a place for the public to shop in person with us, and we plan to welcome you in for workshops and seasonal community events.
